Gemma Ryckebosch and Marilyn Anderson are recent arrivals to Texas ; Gemma having moved from Boston and Marilyn from a Virginia suburb of Washington , D.C.  

As luck would have it, they built houses next door to one another at Robson Ranch just south of Denton . 

They soon discovered that they both had always wanted to own a gift shop and, with the full support of their husbands, they are putting to use their years of travel, design, professional and educational experiences in the operation of Ticking and Toile.
