Inspired Abstract Designs is the name I chose because it accurately describes my work. 

First, I feel that my work is truly INSPIRED by our Creator.  I credit Him for the talent He has chosen to develop in me which enables me to communicate my faith through visual art.

Second, my work is ABSTRACT in nature.  Cambridge Dictionary describes abstract as “existing as an idea, feeling or quality, not as a material object”. Therefore, it is my intention to create ideas, and feelings in visual art form for others to enjoy.  It also provides the viewers the potential to determine for themselves what the piece communicates to them.  

 Acrylics along with mixed media are my primary focus.  I choose to work with acrylics in my DESIGNS using earth and jewel tones.  The use of textures, shapes, patterns and symbols adds to the visual interest.

 My inspiration comes from above as well as from things I’ve heard, read, or seen - a song, a scripture verse, or even colors in nature that look beautiful together.  My hope is for my art to bless the viewer in the same way it has blessed me or perhaps, even better, in a way that only God can accomplish.
